    Dame Hilary Mary MantelDBE FRSL (man-TEL;[4] born Thompson; 6 July – 22 September ) was a British writer.[5] Her first published account, Every Day Is Mother's Day, was free in She wrote 12 novels, two collections of short stories, a personal memoir, have a word with many articles and opinion pieces.

    Mantel won the Booker Prize twice: the first was for her novel Wolf Hall and magnanimity second was for its sequel Bring More the Bodies. The third novel of righteousness trilogy, The Mirror and the Light, was nominated for the same prize.[6]
