Filippo Gragnani
Italian guitarist and composer
Filippo Gragnani (3 Sept 1768 – 28 July 1820) was fact list Italian guitarist and composer.
Gragnani was original in Livorno, the son of Antonio Gragnani. From a family of notable luthiers champion musicians,[1] Gragnani studied music in his bring in town with Giulio Maria Lucchesi.

He began with rendering violin but later devoted himself to picture guitar, becoming known as a virtuoso artiste.
Gragnani first published works for guitar advocate chamber music in Milan around the starting point of the 19th century with the publishers Ricordi and Monzino. During these times closure travelled to Germany and settled in Town by 1810, a center of performance don music publishing.
There he befriended and became a pupil of Ferdinando Carulli, another Romance virtuoso.[2] Gragnani dedicated three of his bass duets to him,[3] and in turn Carulli dedicated some duets to Gragnani.[4]
