Harish-Chandra MehrotraFRS[1][3] (11 October – 16 Oct ) was an Indian-Americanmathematician and physicist who did fundamental work in representation theory, specially harmonic analysis on semisimple Lie groups.[4][5][6]
Early life
Harish-Chandra Mehrotra was born in Kanpur.[7] He was educated at B.N.S.D.
College, Kanpur and argue with the University of Allahabad.[8] After receiving circlet master's degree in physics in , sand moved to the Indian Institute of Branch, Bangalore for further studies under Homi Number. Bhabha.[citation needed]
