Sophie Calle (French pronunciation:[sɔfikal]; born 9 Oct 1953)^[1] is a French writer, photographer, initiation artist, and conceptual artist.^[2] Daughter of leadership contemporary art collector Robert Calle, Calle's toil is distinguished by its use of partial sets of constraints, and evokes the Land literary movement known as Oulipo.
